Port-la-Nouvelle is one of the windiest places on the Aude coast: the tramontane blows hard and often. In practice that means roof coverings fixed with real care, joinery and ironwork chosen to resist salt corrosion, and façade renders suited to salt spray.
This is exactly the sort of setting where sound structural work pays off: a roof laid properly and masonry that is protected age well, even in the front line facing the sea. Our roofing project in Fitou, a few kilometres to the south, faced the same constraints.
Between permanent homes, holiday homes and seasonal lets, projects in Port-la-Nouvelle often have to be run remotely and out of season: a single point of contact keeping you informed throughout is how we work. Home extensions, roof renovation, boundary walls and new build in the newer districts: we cover the whole range of needs, as far as La Palme and Sigean.
