We carry out the structural work ourselves: earthworks, foundations, raising the walls, floors, slabs and external works.
A demanding craft
A mistake at the structural work stage cannot be put right: it shows up ten years later, as cracks. That is why we do not subcontract this part of the project site — the masons who build your walls are employees of the company, and the same person answers to you for the work, from the first appointment through to handover.
Building here also means knowing the ground: clay shrink-swell, which calls for foundations sized to the actual soil; the Tramontane, which loads the walls, the roof coverings and the smallest outdoor structure; the intense heat of the Narbonne summer. We build here: these constraints are taken into account at the foundation and wall-building stage — not afterwards.

Earthworks and foundations
Excavations, reinforced foundations, crawl space: the base of any lasting structure.
Raising the walls
Walls in concrete block or brick, built to good building practice, for new builds as well as extensions.

How it works
A masonry project, whether it lasts five days or several months, always follows the same sequence.
On-site visit
We come out to look at the works: the ground conditions, access for machinery and concrete, the state of what is already there. The quote that follows is free and itemised.
Setting out and preparation
Accurate setting out, protection for everything that stays in place, access and deliveries organised — all before the first bucket of soil is moved.
Foundations and walls
Excavation, reinforcement and concrete pouring, then the structure built up in mortar, with levels and plumb checked as the work goes on.
Finishing and handover
Levelling courses, joints and finishing touch-ups, then the handover of the works with you: anything that is not right is put right before we leave the site.

For the year following handover, any defects reported are put right by the company — the French one-year defects warranty.

This two-year warranty covers equipment that can be removed from the structure: taps, shutters, boiler…

For ten years it covers damage that affects the strength of the building.

This insurance pre-finances repairs without waiting for a court decision. You are given the certificates.
FAQ
Do you take on small masonry jobs?
Yes. A low wall to repair, a couple of piers to build, a terrace slab, an opening to form in a load-bearing wall: small masonry jobs are part of our daily work, just as much as the structural work of a whole house.
Do you need permission for a boundary wall or a garage?
Most of the time, yes: a prior works declaration (déclaration préalable de travaux) is generally required for this kind of structure. Before the quote, we check with you what your commune's local plan (PLU) allows in terms of height, siting and appearance — that is what avoids having to take down a wall you have already built.
How long does a boundary wall take?
The running length, the height, the nature of the ground carrying the wall and the number of openings to be left — main gate, pedestrian gate — make the schedule vary from one wall to the next. The Boutenac project described above gives a real benchmark over 25 metres, foundations included. The quote sets the timescale for yours before work starts.
Which towns do you work in?
We are based on quai de Lorraine in Narbonne and work across the whole Narbonne area — from Lézignan-Corbières to the coast, and as far as Béziers. Depending on the job, we go further: we have worked in the Hérault and as far as the Roussillon. If in doubt, just ask us.
