Areas we cover

Between the Clape massif, the lagoons and the Mediterranean, Gruissan sets its own conditions: sea wind, salt air and coastal planning rules. All constraints we build into the design from the outset.

Building or renovating in Gruissan is not the same as building inland. Salt air attacks metals and fixings; the sea wind and the tramontane put roof coverings and joinery to the test; and the areas near the lagoons or the shore fall under specific, more demanding planning rules.

In practice: reinforced roof fixings, materials chosen to resist corrosion, and a project checked against the local planning scheme (PLU) and the coastal constraints before anything is promised. That is what our free initial visit is for.

Gruissan mixes permanent homes and holiday homes. For the latter, work often has to fit around when you are available and be carried out while you are away: a single point of contact keeping you informed throughout is exactly how we work.

Home extensions to enlarge a holiday house that has become a main home, renovation of wind-exposed roofs, boundary walls and outdoor works: our teams cover the whole coast, from Narbonne-Plage to Port-la-Nouvelle.

FAQ

Do you work in Gruissan during the summer season?

We plan the work around the constraints of a resort town: access, neighbours, letting periods. The schedule is agreed together at the quote stage.

My roof is suffering from the sea wind: what can you do?

A free inspection first. On the coast we pay particular attention to how the tiles are fixed and to the detail points (ridge, verges) so the roof stands up to spells of strong wind.

A free site visit, a detailed quote and a single point of contact from start to finish.
