Making the right choice
A model is never chosen in the abstract: it is chosen along with a plot, a family and a budget.
Single-storey or two-storey house?
A single-storey home means life without stairs — comfortable at any age and sought after on resale — but it takes up more ground area. A second storey frees up the plot and naturally separates the living areas from the sleeping areas. On a development plot of 300 to 500 m², with the setbacks required by the local planning rules (PLU), the choice often makes itself: we check it with you on the plans.
The four factors that decide
The floor area, the number of bedrooms (2 to 4 for most of our designs), the characteristics of your plot — width, slope, orientation: some designs are made for narrow plots, such as the Longière, or for sloping ground, such as the Neuvillière — and the style, traditional southern with a covered gallery and canal tiles, or more contemporary. Our designs are a working basis, never fixed plans.
RE2020 and guarantees: all our new homes comply with the RE2020 environmental regulations (mandatory since 2022), with a thermal study carried out on your actual project. Every build is covered by dommages-ouvrage structural damage insurance and the ten-year structural guarantee (garantie décennale) — full details of the guarantees are here.
